Antique dolls,what do i look for?.?
I have just brought a doll,it looked so old,Porcelain face,legs and hands,i like it either way,but how do i know if its old?? ,there are no markings on it what so ever

Very few dolls had porcelain arm and legs unless they had a leather body. That is one of the signs of an antique doll. The marks for most dolls will be up under the hair, even with the newer dolls. The older dolls are always marked with a country even under the leather body on the porcelain.
Antique dolls cost in the hundreds of dollars. But here is a website where you can look at some of the German and French dolls and some Austrian and American porcelain dolls.
