Wooden Toys – Rising Back to Glory
Young Author's Contest?
I am in Honors English in the 8th grade and am required to participate in the Young Author's Contest. I already came up with topic to write about, but i want to know if there is already a story like this.
STORYLINE:
this story is going to be about a wooden puppet that was crafted from a slab of wood which was cut out from a tree. he will be telling his own life story of how he was no antique and nobody liked him. The man who crafted him, sells toys, but nobody buys him. for months he stays outside in the cold living a hard life. Finally he gets sold to this toy store where he makes many friends.All his friends get bought and he is once again lonely.......................................
