Add a bit of light and a few sound effects and watch the fun grow. Your baby can roll, sit and even step a bit when holding your fingers or clinging to the couch. It might be time this year to get a Christmas gift that will really get the party started. Babies love lights. Toys that blink or flash stimulate brain function and really hold your little one’s attention. You probably already have a variety of toys that come equipped with a light show. The addition of a few sounds and strains of music take the fun to another level.

I don’t know about you, but my children’s attention span and how long they stay engrossed in their latest toy seems to get shorter and shorter by the day. I’ve learned from experience, that some toys that they want may seem great, but I just know they will have a usage factor of mere days before my daughter’s move onto the next latest toy. So, do the latest toy sensations that are the Zhu Zhu Pets hamsters (often pronounced as Zoo Zoo Pets hamsters and Zu Zu Pets hamsters) one of these short lived kid’s toys or will they really provide long term fun and usage by children.
