TV Show from the 90's?

When I was a little girl I used to watch this program where in the theme song it said, "going around the mountain in it." I believe she was going to Grandma's house. I think this show later became a movie. In the movie I think they went to a farm possibly. I thought it was associated with fisher price little people, but I cannot come up with anything in my searches. PLEASE HELP!

Refinishing a cedar chest that has some chipped veneer..?

I need advice on how to refinish this beautiful cedar chest. The top of the chest is chipping , it seems to be a thin layer of veneer. I can see the original wood under it. I'm not sure if I should sand itr down or try to chip off the rest of the veneer and then sand?? I just wish I knew where to begin. Help!!

Depends on how much money you want to put in to it. You can remove the veneer and replace it but it has to be put on with a hot glue and a special iron. If it doesn't have alot of chips I'd decide what color you are going to stain it and either stain your own wood putty or buy the ready made stuff. It's old, it's supposed to look antique-and nothing 100 yrs old gets there without a wrinkle or two. After you complete your project display a beautiful piece of fabric over it.

What do you think of this excerpt from my book?

I came to the place where Yuki had attacked me, no longer than one hour ago, and slowed to a walk, forcing myself to stop grinning, with much difficulty. Now I had to talk to the counsel, and it was frightening thought. In fact, I had never seen any council members or been to a meeting, even though my parents were on the counsel. I didn’t know what to expect. After about ten minutes I caught a scent, and followed it to a little closed down shop, with boarded windows. I tried to open the door, but it was locked. Unsure, I knocked on it instead. I waited about thirty seconds before it opened a sliver.
“Who are you and what do you want?” said a deep voice from inside.
I swallowed hard and spoke in a tentative but respectful voice.
“My Name is Jasmine Martin, and I am here to request an audience with the counsel.”
The door opened fully now, to reveal I tall man with black hair and red eyes. He was wearing a pair of black combat boots, and an ankle length black trench coat. He was very menacing. “Jasmine Martin, you say? Are you the daughter of Christina and William Martin?”
I nodded silently. He stood aside to allow me in.
“You are always welcome here.” He led me to the back of the building, and down a flight of stairs. I entered into a huge, extravagant room, very different from the first impression the old store gave away. It looked a lot like an eighteenth century ballroom. There were eleven other people in it, sitting at a large table in the center of the room. They all looked up as we entered the room, and a girl who appeared to be around twenty-three stood as we entered. She had elbow length, bright blue hair, and, like the rest of the people, red eyes. She was wearing a pink cocktail dress.
“Who is this?” she asked in a high, almost shrill voice, which reverberated inside my head.
“This is Jasmine Martin, her parents where Clint and Christina Martin.”
“No kidding!” Now a boy who looked about thirteen stood. “You cut your hair! And dyed it! It looks kinda cute!” he gave you a small smile.
“Um, not to be rude, but who are you?”
“WHAT?! Aw man you forgot me? I’m Ryder Johnson, I can’t believe you don’t recognize me!” he looked truthfully affronted.
“Sorry!” I apologized quickly, remembering that if I wasn’t nice they might not allow Sierra to keep her memories.
He rolled his eyes. “Why do they always have to be such kiss ups?” he crossed his hands over his chest. “‘Sorry!’ they always think that’s what we want to hear.” Right now he looked more like a child, pouting in a toy store because his parents wouldn’t buy him some hundred dollar toy. The man who had escorted me in shot him a look that said very clearly, “don’t be such a child!” he got it right away, and resumed his control. He cleared his throat, “Well, anyways, now is not the time. You must have come for some reason.”
“Well, ah, you see, I sort of accidentally, told my best friend I’m a vampire.” I closed my eyes and waited. I don’t know how long we were silent, but it felt like an awfully long time. Finally, a new person stood. The sliding of his chair and his heavy footsteps sounded amplified in the tense silence.
“How did this happen?” he asked quietly.
I explained about all that happened with Yuki, and waited. We where silent.
“Tell me, Jasmine, how long has she known?”
“Only since earlier today.” I answered.
“Did she have any… suspicions beforehand?”
“I can’t say, but its very possible.”
“This is… regrettable.” The new man said.
“Regrettable?” I said, confused.
“Yes, you see, we are all purebloods, and therefore can erase a persons memories. However, we cannot make her forget her suspicions.”
I could tell where he was going with this, and a cold feeling of terror was filling me up like water. You know that thing in the back of your mind that tells you not to say or do things? Well, mine broke, then and there. “But I trust her!” I shouted, more loudly than I intended.
“Yes, well-” the woman tried to speak, but I cut her off.
“I wont let you touch her! You cant kill her for having a brain!” my voice echoed around the room.

this is really good! great job!! i love how you descirbed her surroundings so well! but you didn't over do it which is good. a lot of writters describe things wayyy too much which not only drags the story on but makes it seem like they're trying too hard... fabulous job!! i only have one suggestion, instead of writing "who looked around twenty-three" dont be so specific. 23 is kind of random. i think you should say around her mid twenties, but that's just my opinion!! good job keep going!

Will hasbro email upwords work on windows vista?

I can't seem to get it to work. Now I have uninstalled it for the 5th or 6th time because I don't know what to do to make it open the 'turn' since every time I click on turn and open it, then it starts a brand new game instead of opening the turn that was just emailed to me.

I bought a power wheels Harley lookalike motorcycle (three wheels of course) and because my son adores his grandpas real harley davidson, he drove this thing all the way through to the next summer. There is a big variety to choose from though like hummers, jeeps, corvettes etc......

Has HASBO cheated us out of the Scrabble, Monopoly Games and others that they bought from Atari?

Did Hasbro just buy them so they could deprive hundreds of thousands of people from them, and hopefully force them to BUY substitutes? Or does Hasbro have a plan to make them available again? Does anyone know?

I played on the Atari site regularly!!!!!!! I dont know what happened for sure, I heard that Hasbro bought Atari out of the games and has no intention of putting them back so we (who enjoyed playing on the site) would be forced to buy the board games. Dont know how true but that was the latest on that. Got us all addicted and snatched em right up from under us!LOL

How do I dispose of a bottle brush cleaner leftover from an oil painting art class?

I have a half empty bottle of Better Way brush cleaner and oil solvent that spilled when it was being stored in a plastic storage box. The box reeks and so do the the items in the box although the liquid didn't actually touch most of it. How do i dispose of the brush cleaner and can I wash the plastic box in the bathroom sink or does it need to be tossed? Also the other items in the box reek, should i toss everything (paintbrushes, papers, pastels)?
