Can Phil and Kobe ever win again?

3 yrs ago, the whole team pretty much left because of kobe and phil even wrote a book and totally bashed him, calling kobe a "kid that doesnt like to share his toys", told mitch that he wouldnt return, which he didnt if kobe was to stay. called kobe "uncoachable" and said that coaching shaq "he would cherish forever". can you really put all that in the past and move on? i read parts of the book recently and i'm suprised phil came back. if you havent read the book, here is a great summary of it that i copied from a yahoo answerer. wut u think?

yeah lakers need this, lakers need that, their team sucks, its a given, but if u were kobe, one of the best players in the league, would u play for a coach that pretty much despises you or just take it like a man and stay in la for the marketting?
scottanthony, u obviously don't know the definition of salary cap. odom, kg, kidd, and kobe on the same team.. that's over $70 mil in salay for 4 players, u've just exceeded 2 nba teams worth of salary
